There is an app called pbsetup which is suppose to make manual updates easier but when I downloaded that, it wouldnt open. The message said to go to and manually update the files, which I tried to do with no success. In my opinion evenbalance didn't spend enough time in the time microsoft released For some reason today while playing COD4 online I got kicked. As you can see on the evenbalance site (website punkbuster), there are specified versions of punkbuster for a lot of games, so that's the reason punkbuster is compatible with numerour other games evenbalance fixed the 'problems' with some other games allready,īut they haven't fixed their windows 8 problem with cod4.
